Breast Cancer Symptoms

Breast cancer are caused by malignant, cancerous cells usually forming in the glands that produce milk in the breast, or in the ducts that deliver milk to the nipples. Like many other cancers, some breast cancers can spread to surrounding tissues, and other parts of the body. Breast cancer symptoms can be experienced by men as well as women but breast cancer is very rare in men compared to women. More than 1 in 10 women are likely to suffer from breast cancer symptoms, and be diagnosed with breast cancer, in a lifetime.

Cancerous cells often develop because of long term exposure to toxins in our foods and a build-up of these toxins over time. Breast cancer does not develop suddenly. Only when the cancer becomes more advanced do breast cancer symptoms become evident.

Some breast cancer symptoms are a change in shape or size of one or both breasts, a change in the way the skin of the nipple or breast looks, and possible red, swollen, or scaly skin, an unusual rash or sore area may also appear. Some other breast cancer symptoms are tenderness or nipple discharge, the nipple inverted into the breast, and dimpling.

If any of these breast cancer symptoms do persist for an extended period of time, it would be wise to talk to your doctor. It must be noted though, that these symptoms can easily be caused by conditions other than breast cancer. Even lumps on the breast which appear to be breast cancer symptoms often have another cause.
